JOB DESCRIPTION
TITLE: Product Configuration Manager
REPORTS TO:
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Create/Own the Product Packaging documents – Product Specification, Purchase Description, Export Control Classification, FOSS evaluation, TK-input.
- Establish and execute a plan to manage software products and related documentation through the software product lifecycle.
- Oversees the structure and control the content of the product archives, during the software lifecycle.
- Ensure mandatory 3PP related directives, processes, trade compliances, best practices and recommendations are followed
- Drive that project decisions, assessments, are taken with consequences known (technical, legal/commercial, business) with regards to 3PP.
- Provide the complete input to the product packaging process
- Secure that the provisioned object complies with the data given by the supplier regarding supply, support, operation, maintenance, etc.
- Understanding license agreements (with help from Sourcing and Legal) and enforcing that license terms are followed
- Establish relations with all support functions involved in 3PP handling process very early during Pre-Phase.
